A particularly beautiful section runs from San Candido towards Brunico through green meadows, fields and forests along the Rienza Gorge, almost entirely on paved paths and ideal for city bikes, e-bikes or road bikes.
In addition, the cycling path can be combined with other routes, such as the Drava Cycle Path to Lienz or further into the side valleys of the Val Pusteria, allowing tours to be turned into day trips or multi-day excursions.
